Peru is a country full of astonishing natural and cultural diversity. Our territory holds 84 of the 104 life zones in the planet, the variety of landscapes, flora and fauna changes radically as one travels through the desert lowlands in the coast, the rugged mountains in the Andes or the vast plains in the jungle.

On a land that has harbored cultures from different continents over the past 500 years, the cultural mix in Peru has also produced one of the most exquisite and varied culinary traditions, thought to be among the 12 most important national cuisines in the world.
