Llachon Community

The Capachica peninsula separates the Bay of Puno (or shallow section of the Lake) from the main Lake, or Lago Mayor.

You can go on a village visit and have lunch with at Valentin’s or another community member’s house. There are also kayaks if you feel like spending a day kayaking to Taquile. (please contact us for more information). You can instead hike to a scenic spot will show you fabulous Lake views.

Access to Llachon is by boat or by land from Puno, taking about two hours to reach it.
